Saturn Vue Greenline V6 power numbers.

The 3.6 DI in the Two Mode Vue produces 262 HP and 250 lb of torque.

Re: Saturn Vue Greenline V6 power numbers.

The whole point of the green line is fuel economy and instead we get horsepower and torque figures........

Why make a Vue hybrid? It's sooo heavy to start with

Considering that link just goes to the graph, I didn't bother posting the link.

Re: Saturn Vue Greenline V6 power numbers.

The current model gets great numbers at 25/32 so why use the 3.6? Just use a DI 4 at around 200hp linked to the hybrid tranny. Seems more logical to me.

Re: Saturn Vue Greenline V6 power numbers.

the current Vue Green line is a v4 and for lower market, simply gets you extra miles. The two mode is using the tech on chevy Tahoe, which is more advance tech.

It's a Midsize CUV made to compete with the compact ones, I don't understand their logic. They could probably best the CR-V on Delta II, but meh.

The claimed 50% increase is about 29MPG combined, which is 4 better than the Highlander Hybrid.

I originally posted them here, when I saw the new 2009 GM Powertrain pages (cars, trucks) were up. The pages themselves look to be last modified in late June.

Because then it would not be able to tow or haul anything.

29 MPG? Couldn't bump it to 30 for advertising purposes?
The Escape gets 36.
I understand the power angle, but #$#@, in this $4+/gallon environment?
