Saturn.com showing old VUE.

If you go to Saturn.com and build a 2008 Saturn VUE, scroll down to the 6-disc option and check out the picture. You will see the last gen VUE center stack showing the current corporate choice for radios.

Bravo marketing team. Bravo....

At least it's not particularly unattractive.

Re: Saturn.com showing old VUE.

Saturn's never had a particularly good website, be it in appearance, quality of information, or just how something with it works.

They (GM) don't make it easy to sell cars, don't they? Something so simple, yet...

From what I understand, Cobalt runs GM websites which is also in charge of web marketing. banner ads, click through ads, etc etc.. Which is why I referred to them as a marketing team.

Re: Saturn.com showing old VUE.

You think this is bad? At least, they tell you what the option are, and show more details and a picture when you hover over the option. As I said on another thread, Cadillac.com expects you to manually open a separate page in another window to figure out what the heck each options package is (Cadillac.com CTS "build your cadillac" woes). Either that, or you have to memorize codes like PDQ and B20 and their contents .

Re: Saturn.com showing old VUE.

Looks like they just haven't made updating their site a priority. When I tried to register my new Vue in the "MySaturn" section of the site, it refuses to accept anything other than that I have an '04 Ion with 238,000 miles on it. (Won't allow editing.)

Pontiac, on the other hand has an excellent website. I'm surprised, its the one thing that brand does great.

I said nothing about their slogan, but about their website-I wasn't even going to go there.

Probably because their intended audience is very Web-saavy, corporate puts a lot of emphasis there.

I hate pontiacs website. I go there to look up info for a car..and it seems like more than most other automotive websites, I am blasted with music, have to wait for intros to load (that I don't want to see, and when I find where it says 'skip intro' and click it, still have to wait), and the website seems very very cluttered (maybe partly because of the black background, but it still seems to cluttered.)

I go to a car website for easy to find info, not to be entertained by flashy graphics and music....I don't get the easy to find info minus the clutter with Pontiacs website. To me, it is absolutley the worst website by any GM brand.
