I hope GM puts the same torque-steer eliminator in it that they put in the HHR SS.

Re: Saturn Astra Redline? Vauxhall Astra VXR

Don't expect this one to come over! Maybe the next generation will have a Redline version, but unless GM can get this engine certified here in the US (which I donn't think GM is willing to pay to do) I wouldn't hold my breath waiting.

Re: Saturn Astra Redline? Vauxhall Astra VXR

GM should kill the G5 and put its recourses to the Astra so a Redline is possible. It seems people want a Astra Redline than a G5 GXP.

Re: Saturn Astra Redline? Vauxhall Astra VXR

I didnt watch the vid, but if I am not mistaken, didnt Clarkson HATE the Astra VXR? If it is the same clip I am thinking of, it had awesome straight line speed, but handled like a 50's Caddy! Hopefully if we do get a Astra RL it will have much needed handling improvements. You can't just dump tons of power into a car and expect it to be a sports car, look at the GT500. It goes like stink, until you have to turn the steering wheel to the rite or left!
