Armrest for the Astra

www.astraarmrest.com

This is the armrest that will be available for the Saturn Astra. Apparently it's not officially sold through GM (or so it seems from what I've gathered on SaturnFans). Still, it is a useful accessory that will eliminate complaints of no armrest.

There's a video the company did to demonstrate its strength:

Either that, or you could put a sofa cushion between the seats.

Re: Armrest for the Astra

That's good to know, as I often find the need to stand on the center armrest in my car. It get me better radio reception.

Re: Armrest for the Astra

I am thinking about getting this, the $200 price tag makes me hessitant though.

And for the strength, you would be suprised at how much weight something like that would need to take, some people press down on then as they are trying to get out and will put a good 200 lbs or more force on it. Personally I wont, but some people do.
