Re: 2009 Aura

Will the ding guards still be optional on the Malibu? WTF with the Side Marker Lamps? I thought they were going to stay on the Malibu but be re-named.

Not sure on Ding Guard availability for Malibu.

The trainer did say that Chevy can now say they only have 11 Bow-Tie's on the car as opposed to 13.

For 2008, the side moldings are a $150 option on Malibus. According to the 2009 Order Guide, they we still be available on all but LTZ models. Who knows why you can't get them on a LTZ. You could obviously still order them from the dealer.

Oh, hopefully it will still be a dealer installed option.

What? Thats stupid. As long as its optional, people up here are careless and just fling their doors open. One guy even had enough balls to do it while I was in the vehicle.

Not sure how well they work on the Malibu, but they serve no real function on the Aura because of where they are located.

Wow I'm glad they deleted the side marker lights on the Malibu. This is a euro feature that should have been made available exclusively to the Aura.

While they may serve much of a purpose, they lend a little class to the car, in my view anyway.

Nice to see the 6 speed making its way throughout the line up.

Well I wanted something that looks stylish and protects the doors. Is it true power adjustable pedals are being removed from the Malibu? Why?

Not sure why... I just know they were deleted from Epsilon. This includes G6

I doubt the take-rate of adjustable pedals was all that high. I never see an Epsilon with them.

Re: 2009 Aura

I guess that makes sense, such a feature isn't a big deal to me anyway.

I had them on my G6. I used them ONCE! to set them. but if a short/tall person was to buy it would make more sense then me ( I am average height)

I move them sometimes on my G6 just to make sure that they are still working.

Re: 2009 Aura

^^ Yeah, I mean, how many times will you need to adjust the pedals if you're the only one driving the car? It's a nice feature to have...but practicality-wise...
