Volt is second in Electric/Plug-in Sales for 2013

    http://insideevs.com/january-2013-pl...s-report-card/

Complete article at link. There is a caveat that Ford has not yet reported the breakouts of their offerings yer, so this may change.

Model S: 1,200 (estimated since monthly sales are not officially reported by Tesla)
    Volt: 1,140
    Prius Plug-in: 874
    Leaf: 600
    I-Miev: 257
    Rav4 EV: 25
    Karma: 20
    Fit EV: 8
    Accord Plug-in: 2
    C-Max Energi: Not yet reported
    Focus Electric: Not yet reported
    Fusion Energi: Not yet reported

Again, this article accounts for electrics/plug-ins only, not the other hybrids, so no prius HB/V/C or other variations of C-max/fusion/MKZ etc. I will try to update the thread when the Ford results are posted.

The class is so small, it is amost a hollow award.

True...the overall market for electric/plug-in is not significant in the overall scheme and January was exceptionally pathetic.

Isn't it a little too early to even care, in what order the leader board is at right now?

So many helpful posts in this thread...
VOLTEC is the future of everything automotive.
A plug in Prius is not the same as a VOLT.
No longer do you have to buy the worst in class car for the best MPG.
    The Prius is now irrelevant.
