    Video: 1991 Chevy Lumina Z34 Road test

    "Chevrolet’s ‘Z’ nomenclature, from the 80s and 90s hearkened back to the Super Sports of days past. Having Z models in virtually all its model lineup, from Cavalier Z24, Beretta GTZ, Corsica LTZ, all the way up to Camaro Z28, so the Lumina Z34 was an obvious realization. I may be wrong, but the Z34 was the only alphanumeric badging that actually indicated engine displacement, with the exception of later Z24′s..."

    The first time I drove up Pike's Peak was in one of these... red, but with an automatic. I did drive a 5 speed once, but they are rare. I was a senior in high school when my dad had this car, it was ok for its day.

    My mother had a 1992 Cutlass with this engine, for the day it was quite punchy! But you had to rev it a bit more, inherent ofits design architecture!

    my first car was a '91 Lumina. I was always jealous when running across the somewhat rare Z34's

    If you look in the background at the 3:00 mark, you'll see, most likely, the same white Grand Prix STE Turbo sedan Baja's already posted the MW test video of.
