Traverse- California Edition package?

Anyone know what this package includes.
From the edmunds review- seems that you can get an LT (posibly the 2LT) with 20 inchers and dual exhaust.... anything else?

Re: Traverse- California Edition package?

WOW... fast reply.. thanks mgescuro.

im thinking of getting the Traverse in its 2nd year run.
The 20 inchers and dual exhaust look nice... but I didnt want to pay the price of the LTZ...
In fact- theres some things I could do without on the 2LT. (like the auto opening rear hatch).
So it looks like this would be a nice option package.

Do you happen to know if this is available for both the LT and 2LT? (how about LS-?).
I was planning on ordering the traverse with options I wanted and leaving out items we dont need.
This is what we did with out Impala---- and we saved close to $3500 by ordering the vehicle our way- versus buying the vehicles that were on the lot--- whitch had been loaded up with leather, sunroof, bose, digital AC, etc.

Im also going to wait for the 2nd year run.... while they work out the bugs on the vehicle and the factory... and it gives me a chance to put another 30,000 miles on my 2003 Trailblazer...currently at 131,000

I'm not sure. Chevy has a number of "California Edition" Chevys for sale.
I poked around the net and it looks like it is possible with LT and 2LT, but check your dealer to be sure.

I don't think I'd be too concerned with 2st year Traverses, as the Acadia and Outlook have been out for a while now. Most of the bugs should have been worked out there.

Re: Traverse- California Edition package?

Its true that the GMC/Saturn/Acadia editions have been out...
But the reason for waiting is that the Chevy version is being built at a different plant from the other 3 and the new DI engine is new on the platform.... since it has not been used on the other 3 up until this model year.
So far Ive seen a few post about the 6 speed tranny not downshifting when you want it to... thought from a post- it seems that its as simple as a software update.
Lets hope most bugs have been ironed out with the 1st 3 vehicles.

thanks for the info!
