Trademark filed for Chevelle

So GM filed a trademark for Chevelle on 4 Dec 2012. Four different ones actually. One of them is for auto badges and decals.

Probably just renewing to keep the names secure but given the timing you can't help but wonder.

Let the speculation begin.

Alpha-based sedan and coupe will be called Chevelle along with the pony car 2+2 coupe & convertible called Camaro, the ute called El Camino, and the sportwagon called Nomad. A Chevelle coupe or Nomad two-door wagon would bring me back to GM immediately.
