Nuance leather seating surfaces - natural or synthetic?

the Nuance leather seating surfaces that are in these new cars - is that natural leather, or synthetic leather?

can or should I use any kind of leather cleaner/conditioner/protector on them? I've got some "Leather Soft Cleaner" and "Leather Protection Cream" from LeatherMaster (http://www.stainsafe.com/ssafe/dept.asp?dept%5Fid=400) and was wondering if it'd be ok to use on the leather on the car seats.

The stuff I have is for both: PROTECTED leathers also called Finished, Semi-Aniline, Everyday, Pigmented or Painted leathers. AND -- ANILINE leathers, also called Natural, Pure, Naked or Unprotected leathers.

anyone have any idea, or has anyone used anything like this on their "Nuance Leather seating surfaces" ??

What the hell is a "Nuance Leather seating surface"??

    Thanks!

I use Lexol...it's ph balanced...if that means anything. Works real good at cleaning but does not prevent cracking. Nuance leather is also in Cadillacs. If you notice, it says "leather seating surfaces" which means the whole seat is not leather, just the part your arse sits on.

All the years I have owned cars that had Leather seats I have used a product called the Tannery (which is a spray cleaner conditioner). I buy it at Ace Hdw and it is about 4 bucks a can. It does not require more then spray on wipe off and it is not greasy nor does it have a smell to it. I have used it for probably 20 years and find it just dandy for car interiors.

OK - we still don't have an answer!! What the hell is 'Nuanced' leather! Can't someone from GM just spell it out! Leather or some kind of fake leather?? These kind of phoney baloney "ad speak" words are just to get people to believe one thing and GM means something else. This kind of nonsense is part of the bs that has gotten Detroit in the Market Share debacle that they made for themselves in the past. Granted, GM is in a position to begin earning some of that market share back - but not if they play these games and mess with the buyer's trust. SOOOO - WHAT THE HELL IS NUANCED LEATHER.

Nuance leather in GM vehicles is the trade name used for the process of preparing the leather, which leaves a long-term "leather smell" in the product - and thus you will think it is a higher-quality due to the long-term smell. The process was developed by Cadilac.

You may use any high quality cleaner and/or leather conditioner. Read your owner's manual for suggestions if you wish.

    I hope this information helps.
