Malibu Interior Question

Does anyone know if the Ebony/Brick will ever be available in any model of the Malibu other than the LTZ?

I don't want a 6-cyl (I hear a 4-cyl is coming) and I'd prefer a 5 speed manual. But I really would like a black or grey exterior with the Ebony/Brick leather.

Re: Malibu Interior Question

You can get a 4-Cylinder LTZ that has that interior. However those two-tone schemes will likely never make it past the LTZ...those are meant to be perks for LTZ models only.

Re: Malibu Interior Question

Also, there is no 5-speed or even 6-speed manual available.

Re: Malibu Interior Question

I think Chevrolet is done with manuals in their mid-size (Malibu) car.

The last manual I can think of was in the early 90's Corsicas, and even those were extremely rare. I could be wrong though.

Yep If your talking about the Malibu Nameplate itself then your wrong. The last Malibu to have manuals available were the 3rd gen models where you could get either a 4 speed or 3 speed manual (along with the 3 speed automatic) Since the 4th gen models came out GM has been using automatic trannies on them and has yet to offer a manual

As for other models besides the Corsica/Beretta models that were mentioned earlier. First Gen Lumina models also had a 5 speed manual available but for the most part Chevy seemed to shy away from manual transmissions in most of the their cars (corvette camaro excluded) during the 1990's
