Help replacing Malibu Maxx tail light...

I was wondering if anyone had any specific guides or tips of wisdom when doing something like this (I've never done it before). Any help would be great and much appreciated and will save me lots of money I don't have at the dealership.

Get one of those Automotive books for the Malibu Maxx at Oreilly's or any auto parts store. They should have one on the Maxx.
