Doraville Assembly...

Well, I am confused. I have been surfing around and read somewheres that Doraville is closing this November. However, now I rread the Uplander/SV6 stop in 2008 for the US and 2009 for Canada/Mexico and Doraville is staying till 2011. Can someone clarify please?

Re: Doraville Assembly...

I went on an employee going away tour a few weeks ago, people we talked to said late September. The majority of the vans running down the line were of the short wheel base variety.

Re: Doraville Assembly...

Doraville is done. The reason for the different model years discontinued is they are in different markets and crash standards are diffferent. Last I heard Doraville is done in September and the sale of the plant will happen shortly as GM has a buyer who will transform the site into a live, work, play enviorment.
