Cobalt production numbers

Pieces are falling in place (finally!) for me to pull the trigger on a new Cobalt so, I have been seriously looking for specific optioned cars.
Is there any way of finding production numbers (how many are out there with specific options)? I'd like to know how good my odds are of actually finding a 4 door SS without a sunroof. Thanks to all who can help

Re: Cobalt production numbers

Short of building/pricing/searching on the GM site, the best way I've found is to go to a dealer and ask them to pull up a search of all SS sedans, and see if one out there matches your wishes.

Yeah, just head to the dealer. They should be able to get you exactly what you want.

There is about a 400+ day field supply of Cobalts right now so I'd say the odds are pretty good that you will be able to find any option package that you're looking for.

Yea but he's looking for a SS sedan. The SS/SC production numbers were in the 1,000-1,500/year range and I'm pretty sure the TC's are pretty similar. And of those, I imagine less than half are sedans. Then from there, to find the ones that aren't sold already AND have the options he wants, I'd say it's a pretty hard find.

FAB454, why don't you just have one ordered?

edit: If the post above is correct, I'd say it is very unlikely that you'll find exactly what you're looking for. Especially since not too many dealers are going to order a top of the line model (SS) without a sunroof. That's the main reason I had mine ordered. Good luck.
