True re Mustang but it is part of the Mustangs styling link to the early fatsbacks, where as you could look at the pillarless design as one of The new Camaro's links to it ancestor (67 to 69) - no Camaro's have had a real B pillar in the past (have they?)

So does anyone who watches thisforum actually believe they saved 300lbs (as quoted by some ) in haveing a B pillar? Come on they barely saved any weight over a G8!! $300 maybe 300 lbs YEAH RIGHT

Re: CAMARO! - The Massive Never-Ending Discussion Thread

Chassis was strengthend due to the longer and more expensive axle to dash ratio.
GM wants 5 star crash rating on the thing too.

Re: CAMARO! - The Massive Never-Ending Discussion Thread

there's Muscle Pony comparision on MotorTrend and Edmunds Insieline
They priced Camaro as the best of the three...but every one of them has unique personality !

especially good words was send to Mustang..
we all thought that Camaro will kill Mustang, but Ford still can keep it Pony hot !

if it will have 50 BHP(5.0 L Boss) more it might be better than C'maro

Black SS for me !

modern muscle debate

Re: CAMARO! - The Massive Never-Ending Discussion Thread

does anybody know if they are still doing that competitive GMS code offer thing? I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer that I'm looking to get rid of... I really want the new Camaro. The GMS code will save me about $2,000!!! My grandfather worked there, but apparently I can't receive the code since he is deceased maybe someone here can help?

Please consider retiring this thread. It is too, too out of date.
