Could that be why the car appears to be longer to accomodate an awd setup. If the corvette were to get an awd option why not make it advanced and have the front wheels powered by electric motors.

No mention of AWD at all in the video. Ride height has little to do with AWD. The Audi A8 and various Lambos are AWD and don't have high ride height. Do you have any real information to substantiate this thread title? If not, it's pretty misleading. Originally Posted by mbukukanyau

The Corvette in this video is not AWD(I'm seeing too much spin from the rear wheels)... But the car that appears behind it at about the 27 second mark, what looks to be the next gen Impala, may be.
But I would welcome an AWD option for the Corvette... It may boost sales...
