What do you think of that high ground clearance, It means at least that one is an AWD one.

Remember these sorts of AWD systems only deliver power to the front when needed...

Here is the normal ride height, pretty low

right, which means the rears shouldnt consistently spin. watch the end where they try to put it away- it shouldnt do that with awd.

and for the ride height, who knows, its a mule. maybe the snow tires are bigger than stock.

It's clear to me that the Corvette is based on the Tahoe platform.

Could that be why the car appears to be longer to accomodate an awd setup. If the corvette were to get an awd option why not make it advanced and have the front wheels powered by electric motors.

Its a sports car that does not need fat batteries.

No mention of AWD at all in the video. Ride height has little to do with AWD. The Audi A8 and various Lambos are AWD and don't have high ride height. Do you have any real information to substantiate this thread title? If not, it's pretty misleading.

You people are finally getting it.

The move is clearly a strategy to move the Camaro to the Y platform so it can lose weight.

The Corvette in this video is not AWD(I'm seeing too much spin from the rear wheels)... But the car that appears behind it at about the 27 second mark, what looks to be the next gen Impala, may be.

But I would welcome an AWD option for the Corvette... It may boost sales...

    GM is brilliant.

Camaro to Y platform, Corvette to Tahoe platform, and Tahoe to Zeta so it handles better and can finally tow! We're all saved!
