As many of you may know, the 2013 MLB All-Star game was held in NYC tonight at Citi Field (Home to the NY Mets). Chevrolet was the major sponsor for the game and many of the festivities surrounding the game. Well, earlier today, they rolled out the red carpet and had a parade featuring the All-Star players on 42nd Street in Midtown. All of the players were 'paraded' down 42nd in shiny new Silverados. I headed up there around lunch time and snapped a few pics with my phone.
This is the first time that I have seen the trucks in the wild and I must say that they have a much greater presence than the GMT900s and for lack of a better word, they just look more 'complete' than the GMT900s. They had several white ones there that looked like the white-diamond tricoat that GM has used before on other models and it looked outstanding. Below are a few pics. Enjoy:
I exited Grand Central Terminal this morning and didn't know what the heck was going on! I figured it had to do with the All-Star game, and a quick google search confirmed it.
