2010 Equinox USB Port
Has anyone heard why these are not being put in the 2LT or the 1LT with the upgrade. I have test driven 2 of them and neither has had the USB port in it. One dealer I spoke with said that they were not putting them in any of the 2LT or 1LT with the upgrade. I am getting ready to buy one and want to know if they will have them in the future. Thanks.

Re: 2010 Equinox USB Port
They should be in the center console...

Re: 2010 Equinox USB Port
It's on the Equinox builder on the Chevy website. Vehicle Interface Package or whatnot.

Re: 2010 Equinox USB Port
Thought I was going blind, I couldn't find it. I was building a 2LT, which is what I ordered. Then I checked the 1LT and the option was listed there. I would assume it was included on the 2LT, but looks like it isn't. The bluetooth says it is.

Re: 2010 Equinox USB Port
I spoke with a dealer today, all the 2010's are coming without it, at least in our area. No explination as to why. He even asked whom ever they call for getting one built and was told they are not being put in. They did not give any indication as to if it will even be put in later. Too bad I was looking forward to it.

Re: 2010 Equinox USB Port
My question is, if it comes standard in an LTZ (I've seen it and used it during a test drive), why isn't it being put on a 2LT? It's not like the parts aren't lying around.
I ordered a 2LT and something this small is actually a big deal to me. |

Re: 2010 Equinox USB Port
GM Canada just updated their website so you can build a 2010 Nox. The 2LT radio descriptions shows this with the default radio:
Radio: AM/FM Stereo w/CD-ROM/MP3 Playback/USB Port |

Re: 2010 Equinox USB Port
The GM rep talked to the dealership service manager and I have an appointment for September 1st. I don't know if you can have it installed if it wasn't part of a package you ordered. In my case I purchased the vehicle and it was supposed to be included with the options I got. GM must have done some type of quality control, because they contacted me about the issue. The dealer didn't notice it. Just have to wait for the parts to be available.
