2010 equinox LT- add the factory rear camera possible? (mirror system)

Does anyone know if there is some way to get the factory rear camera integrated into the mirror, installed, if it doesnt come with it?

I seem to find the right combo of color and vip, but not with the camera.. if there were some way, i'd just have that added.

I'd rather not add a cludgy dashboard mounted rear camera to the vehicle if i can avoid it though..

look at this...
someone added the Factory rearview mirror- and then went thru the process of adding the camera...
This was on an 09 Acadia- that did not come with it.
this may give you clues as to what you may want to do...

Cool.. well i guess the real question is whether there is wiring to the rear and near the mirror.. and if one could just buy the part to replace the mirror and get a camera at the other end..

I had heard of dealers being able to install the $700 foglight option at the dealer, i was hoping maybe they offered something similar.. as i found the car but no rear camera setup.. really wanted it integrated in the mirror.

A universal mirror.. but it doesnt say if onstar would still function.
