2009 Cobalt SS

I went to a dealership the other day and ordered a Cobalt SS with an optional reconfigurable performance display and the dealership called me the following day and stated that the Cobalt wasn’t being made with that option until further notice. The dealership was speculating about a problem with the module or engineering not sure??? Has anyone heard of a recall???

Re: 2009 Cobalt SS

Not too many recalls on '09's yet.

Probably a reliability issue.

Re: 2009 Cobalt SS

There are a couple of SS's on ebay with this option, that is actually the first time I saw the option ever, I had not heard anything about it before. I seems like a cool feature, it can read speed, boost, G's and other info.

Re: 2009 Cobalt SS

The supplier may have gone out of business. The supplier for the heated washer fluid system (in Traverse at least) went under.

Re: 2009 Cobalt SS

I saw pics somewhere of the RPD installed in a Cobalt SS in Canada. It was nice, but seems like something that gets old really quick.
