Reminder: Post Most Non-GM Related Threads In The Discussion Forums

Recently we've had a flood of non-GM news in this forum.

Since this is "GM" Inside News first and foremost, the daily Ford, DCX, Toyota, or other European and Japanese brand specific news will be moved to the appropriate Discussion forums here at GMI.

One reason, for instance, is that the News ticker should not have 3 articles on Ford's Union plans, or how Toyota is overtaking GM. Please make life easier for us Moderators, and just post those kinds of articles directly to the appropriate discussion forums here at GMI:

GENERAL CAR DISCUSSION

On the other hand, if you think the article has some deeper meaning for GM fans or will have some profound impact on GM, even if its a bit obscure, feel free to post it here and we'll decide to move it to the ticker or not. The issue is quality of "competition" related articles versus quantity.

Just a reminder, when you find an article to put in the Suggest a News Article section, please take a moment to check to make sure the article hasn't aready been posted.

Also if the article is the same as in another active thread, but just from a different source and it doesn't really add anything new, it would be best to just post it in the first thread and not start a new one.
