NEW YORK -- Subaru of America Inc. has released prices for its 2006 B9 Tribeca SUV that will appear in showrooms in late May.

The entry level five-passenger 2006 Tribeca will be $31,320. The top-of-the-line seven-passenger model with a rear-seat DVD entertainment system and navigation unit is $38,320. Both prices include $625 destination.

The SUV will be Subaru's biggest vehicle and is expected to lure new buyers to the brand.

I can't say that is a particulary attractive vehicle. The grill is very weird and the overall shape of the car is like an oval.

best inetrior in an SUV out of ANY company, its near perfact, i would buy this for that reason alone, i really hope that with the SAAB version they change the inerior very, because other than that nose this SUV is perfact, including price.

Pretty bad when GM designs a platform but takes another company to make it look good. Why can't our versions of the GMT360 have this kind of quality? I am not a real big fan of the exterior but no biggie.

I rather not have Saab this car. Subaru made it, so they should keep it. I like the Tribeca.

The interior is quite good but I can see the exterior, particularly the front end, on the "to do list" for things to change for this SUVs first refresh. That grill just doesn't do anything positive for me. Reminds me of an old Alfa Romeo. Also, Tribeca's the name of a film festival but does anyone know what "B9" stands for?

The grill reminds you of Alfa Romeo because the head of Subaru design (Mr. Andreas Zapatinas) used to work for Fiat designing Alfa Romeos. I guess he figured by turning Alfa's decades old trademark grill upside down no one would notice. Tsk, Tsk.

Goes to show that taste in an interior is very subjective. It's nowhere near perfect in my book. Looks like the whole center stack melted or something.

What's this thing based on?

Oh...and $38k? For a Subaru???

You are right, tastes in interiors are subjective, but you have to admit it is detailed very nicely and it looks futuristic and luxurious at the same time.

Personally I love the interior.
