Yesterday we brought you a few photos of the revised 2013 Honda Civic as it awaited delivery to dealers. Today we have more definitive shots for a clearer view of the car inside and out just before its scheduled to go on sale on November 29. While not terribly exciting, Honda’s quick revision of the Civic is an example of how competitive this segment has become, such that even a perennial best seller cannot rest on its laurels and rely solely on its name for sales and credibility.

I over all like what I see, a big improvement with what they had to work with...

Though my biggest gripe with the civic is how it feels going down the road which is cheap.

Considering the previous model, it's not like they could've made it worse.

Am I the only person who sees BMW in the tail lights?

Regardless, it looks really good. Honda appears to have gotten their mojo back. They've been on a roll lately.

Hate the dash, the slope of the hood looks like a mini-van....why can't small cars have actual HOODS?, I see different tail lights, but other than that....most of the same dull Honda design.

Re: This is the revised 2013 Honda Civic

The revision of the Civic is not just an example of how competitive the C-segment has become, it demonstrates that Honda attempted to rest on its own arrogance, designing an automobile that simply was not up to par with much of the competition in this segment. The fact that the 2012 model has actually performed quite well in regards to sales surprises me.

I applaud Honda's efforts in being able to revise the interior and exterior of the 2013 Civic so quickly. Aside from the front three quarter view, the 2013 model does not look bad. A definite improvement over the 2012 model. I can't imagine the sales numbers for this new Civic going anywhere but up... even in such a competitive segment.

Roll on the ground laughing at their recent styling miscues perhaps?

Styling is subjective, but their recent cars, like the class leading Accord have been rather impressive, and there is no denying that. I don't like the CR-V, but it is also impressive.

Ok I swear I read a post on somewhere that said Japanese cars with leather seats don't pucker, only American cars do....wow! Sure not the case here! Looks like crap!! The rear looks great, but the front looked wayyyyy better in the teaser shots!

I find it sad that some people wish for GM to fail and can't comprehend any good news. A plausible explanation for this kind of behavior is that you have a miserable life so you wish the same to others. Cory Pham, Autoblog Poster

GM must return its divisions to being interdependent entities within the corporation. Decentralize and free the different divisions talents to foster brand differentiation and customer loyalty.
