New Kia Sedona/Carnival Minivan Spyshots

From another Korean website. Looks much better than the current version. Not sure how the off again/on again Hyundai Entourage will look in comparison to the Kia verison.

I don't like the exterior, but the interior looks kinda nice.

I hope the fuel economy is way up. My neighbors have an '03 Sedona EX and it's a tank - and guzzles like one.

Also, $31K (I assume maxxed out) is too high for a Kia. They paid around $19K for one with everything but leather that stickered for around $22K.

That's a nice looking van, better than the current USDM-only Honda Odyssey.

Re: New Kia Sedona/Carnival Minivan Spyshots

Hmm, we are about to buy a van and I was thinking Odyssey. But the Honda are freakin pricey! I looked at the Chrysler's but their crash scores suck. Crash scores are pretty important to me since I was just in a bad accident two weeks ago that broke my right leg in 3 places. So I'm going a lot of shopping from my bed

Re: New Kia Sedona/Carnival Minivan Spyshots

Hope you get well soon. I wonder when the new Sedona comes out. Are you considering that? I just came from the website. It looks great and at a a low price, too. And you get the warranty. I know I sound like a salesman, but it it looks and sounds like a good deal.

You should check out the Sienna, Freestar/Monterey and Uplander/Relay/Montana SV6/Terraza, too.

Looks like it has all the right pieces to be a big hit in the minivan market. Looking at all the pics on the Kia website, this would be at the top of my list if I were shopping for a minivan.

Proportions look weird...but has to be a better vehicle than the Uplander.

Next month.

I think it looks smaller because they either aren't offering the extended version at release of the Sedona, or they aren't offering it at all, and will only offer it on the Hyundai Entourage (Hyundai's version of the Sedona).
