Re: A new Chrysler logo takes flight?

I am so surprised people like it, it's so generic. It could be a Chinese car brand or anything. The current one is very unique, looks upscale (far too upscale for the current crap, I mean crop, of Chrysler cars) and basically works very well. The last thing to change about Chrysler.

I also agree there's no point in reverting to the Fratzog for Dodge cars.

It looks good, but does look like a Chinese Aston Martin Logo.

A new Chrysler logo takes wing?

Tomorrow, we'll get the official skinny from Chrysler on what the automaker's product plans are over the next few years. As the Fiat-directed new (and new again) Chrysler looks to break free from the shackles of mediocrity and reinvent itself, a filing at the U.S. Patent and Trademark office appears to confirm an Allpar report published earlier this month, showing the new winged logo that will presumably adorn cars coming from the Chrysler division.

I think you're right! A logo is just a logo, nothing more.

Way too similar to the Aston Martin logo.

Modern, tasteful, looks kind of upper class.

I agree for the most part w/this, but a logo should not be plain/boring.
It should have a sparkle of life in it.

The Buick logo/badge had this(sparkle of life) before GM stripped the colors from the tri-shield....at least for NA. The vehicles are starting to look better, but the badge w/out the colors is not worthy to be put on the vehicles.

How about designing some new cars instead of logos.
