Re: A new Chrysler logo takes flight?
hopefully all will be revealed tommorow. IMO there is a good chance that at least one of the LY cars (probably the new 300) will probably make an appearance during the press conference. Personally I can't wait to hear about the new 300 and more importantly what Fiat products will be coming here to the states

Re: A new Chrysler logo takes flight?
I don't really like this new Chrysler badge. The current one is fine as is.
Its not "broken" thus no reason to change it. There is also no reason to change the Dodge badge either. Its fine as is. !!!

Re: A new Chrysler logo takes flight?
It looks upscale and sleek. However, admittedly I am prejudiced, I always love the look of stainless steel or chrome.

Re: A new Chrysler logo takes flight?
All that real estate and they put the "Chrysler" lettering in a font size too small to read.

Re: A new Chrysler logo takes flight?
It wouldn't really make sense to have the Ram brand logo on a Dodge brand vehicle...

For a company that is struggling to have or even gain marketshare currently & in the future, creating a 4th division wasn't a smart move & was/is completely unnecessary as is making new logos for future cars that are at least 18-24months away at best...IF Chrysler can survive that long. I do want to see Chrsyler, Dodge & Jeep survive for many decades. But now is not the time to do the things they've done. The Sebring/Avenger cars need replacement asap. The 200c can replace the Sebring at least in design & the Avenger needs to be redone w/an aggressive sporty design. The Avenger name can stay or go but the change from Stratus(to Avenger)wasn't exactly smart & led to more consumer confusion. Chrysler should have skipped the MCE of the current Sebring/Avenger & fast tracked their replacements. Chrysler/Dodge needs these cars that would compete w/the Fusion/Milan, Malibu, Camry, Accord/etc. Now, to bring in much needed cash, not just in 18-24+ months. ![]() !!!!!!!!!!!

Re: A new Chrysler logo takes flight?
Overall, I like it. It looks more modern and sleeker than the current version. The only concern I have is the coloring of the lettering. Maybe it's the photo, but the "CHRYSLER" lettering blends in too much with the blue background. The lettering needs some sort of contrasting finish to make it stand out.
Hopefully, a new logo signifies a change for the better for the brand. It should only be applied to new or redesigned products though; it would help to separate the "New Chrysler" from the "Old Chrysler". |
