Neon replacement uncovered

Appears to be the first look at the neon replacement with no camo:

Re: Neon replacement uncovered

omg the pacifica and the durango had puppies....

btw the Nitro Concept? does anyone else feel it's a cheap LR3 ripoff? the hood shape, sides and vents seem seem right off the LR3, you know it's bad when your trying to make a cheaper ford copycat product...

That was exactly my first thought about the side vents.

Looks like a Vibe and a Dakota had a baby. Small crossover type vehicle, should do well in Dodge's line up.

Re: Neon replacement uncovered

Where's the sedan version of it? The market for wagons is not strong enough to sustain this and the Magnum without sedan/coupe variants. As a wagon, it's not bad, but the front end is too aggressive for the height of the vehicle. Perhaps as a sedan it will look more appropriate?

I hear you!

Surprisingly, the Ram nose seems to work well with this car. This will be one of my favorites, if not my favortie Dodge. Very nice.

AGREED!!! The body reminds me too much of the Vibe. Looks like an SUV.

Looks somewhat cool, though.

Re: Neon replacement uncovered

the plan at dodge was to make dodge a hatchback/wagon/truck brand only, the dealers had a fit and thats how we got the charger. the magnum was the first car in the plan. the charger went against the plan, looks like they are going back to the plan again...

obviously the viper would not be included in this, if it even makes it to a next generation model....

Re: Neon replacement uncovered

It also reminds me of the Vibe and Toyota Matrix. Now look what you GM guys have started - joking.

I would be surprised if there was a sedan to compliment this crossover thing. Since Daimler wants to turn Dodge into a wagon, crossover, hatchback, truck division, there might not be a sedan version. Who knows for sure.

I sort of like this vehicle, but I wouldn't buy it. I still like the Cobalt and sedan/coupes over crossover wagons.

Re: Neon replacement uncovered

Outside of the Dodge goofy headlights and truck grille, doesn't the rest of the vehicle look familiar? I know I mentioned the Pontiac Vibe earlier, but the rest of this car looks similiar to other models from other brands. I can't put my finger on it. Is there some Mazda 3 in the back area?
