I must say that this company has a strong future in America. I must also say that I heard of their international reputation for building trucks long before I know they made tractors. Finally, I must say that they should be the future caretakers of Hummer. It will become a niche brand and very expensive, but they should be the ones to incur the cost of a niche luxury brand while I get a Beat from GM in a couple of years.

Mahindra Tractors are well known here, and the US is the Largest auto market in the world (for now) I would guess that people familiar with their farm implements would give the truck pictured a look.

They are junk, the only reason they sell is because of price. Unfortunately most Americans care about price first. I would refer you to the proposed Chevy Volt price on another thread last week. All people would talk about was the price, not the fact that it was game changing for GM! I rest my case!

GM should explore a partnership with Mahindra to provide small pickup and 4x4 products. It might give Hummer a boost without making significant cash outlays.

That would help maintain GM's relationships with the Hummer dealers, many of whom have Cadillac and other GM dealerships.
