Korea's First Super-luxury Car Hits the Market

http://english.chosun.com/w21data/ht...602070019.html

Hyundai Motor's Equus has ushered in the era of the domestically produced W100 million automobile. A Hyundai official said Tuesday that the 2006 model top-of-the-line full-size sedan Equus limousine VL 450 with all the trimmings well set you back about W101.52 million. The W90.78 million price tag of the lesser-equipped VL 450 is not cheap either, and you might as well fork over the additional US$10,000 for the fully-loaded model that includes a rear "VIP seat" and the telematics service Mozen.

A Hyundai insider boasted that the 2006 Equus will please a driver and passenger's every sense, providing the ultimate in comfort and satisfaction -- even entertainment, as the model is equipped with the world's first digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) service which allows the passengers to enjoy real-time TV programs in crystal-clear picture quality through the rear seat monitor while relaxing on the high-end woodgrain and crinkled leather seats.

No Thanks.

I will stick with the traditional European and Japanese alternatives.

The onein your link looks good! It'll take a lot though to sway me from the current choices.

Isn't 'Equus' the Latin word for horse? Why would you name a car like that?

The car pictured at the top doesn't look half bad. Even though, I'd never buy one, I'm very, very, very, little impressed by the quality of Korean products.
