    GMI'spy Mystery VW sedans

Hi guys it has been awhile since my last encounter with VW testers ( three years to be exact) and I once again managed to run into a pair of VW testers. However this time I was outgunned (my main lense absent due to a communications snafu with 454) so I was forced to utilize the cell cam to get two good shots of these cars. I have absolutely no idea what they are nor do I have any clue as to what VW brand they are from (the rear logo is something i have not seen before) so if someone can identify these cars that'll be great

    enjoy

Isn't the rear logo for Mazda?

no, the Logo in question (my cell cams resolution is garbage) was a full on circle with what looked like to be a central full circle with lines going through it. I'll admit that the cam on my LG ENV 1 makes it a bit hard to see clearly but zoom in and you'll see what im getting at

I agree I think it is the next gen Jetta jcgable. I looked at a rendering just now and despite the inferiority of my cell cam the rear looks spot on with the rendering I saw so its a safe bet that these were testers for that car. i wish i had a better lense on me. Normally I'm a huge stickler when it comes to photo quality and I know these wouldn't sell very well aso i figured i'd do the next best thing

    Yup, MK6 Jetta.

    Good catch though!
VOLT USES LESS GAS! A certain "expert" released this nugget of information. I say read what he wrote and dwell on it. Volt uses less gas. It lowers consumption. Isnt that the goal?

thanx hopefully i'll be reunited with my normal lense later today. 454 borrowed it to go to a classic car show last weekend (he's very talented at photographing muscle cars) but he forgot to give it back to me by mistake thus the use of the cell cam

besides the Jetta, it could be a big reskin of the Passat.

It looks more Passatish than Jettaish.

most definitely is a Jetta...looks very similar to the current model...almost to similar. Looks pretty bland, Focus and Cruze need not worry much from a styling standpoint but I bet the interior will be top notch.

Nice catch. It looks more Jetta-sized and the side windows seem more in line with that of the current Jetta. The New Midsize Sedan should have a larger looking trunk (maybe you'll see one of those soon ).

Agreed, it's not big enough to be anything else, and looks similar to the Coupe concept they had recently

The back end does look suspiciously Chinese. But the front looks just like the next-gen VW illustrations. Hmmm....

I wonder what that weird logo is?

the logo could be something to throw off photogs (Audi did use an upside down mitsu logo and mitsu styling cues to mask one of there testers). It could be a Chinese spec MK6 (that would explain the odd rear styling these two had) and the front end was a match to rendered pictures
