Not so fast. Ford has quite a bit of debt to pay off.
This is great news but by any account the recovery is still fragile.
The imbeciles at the UAW should be thankful that their rank and file are working and should stand down.

Beneath all the spin and hype both here and in Ford's press release is a truly enormous, multi faceted sacrifice and positive contribution by the UAW.

Also an understated contribution by Ford Motor Credit.

Hi Jry:

I totally agree, no manufacturer is out of the woods, any blip on the economy or national disaster could throw everything into chaos! What do some of these Union fanboys think of? Money doesn't grow on trees, if I had been head of any of the big three I would be seeking workers from outside of the USA, for economical reasons 5 years ago!

If the Unions don't educate the rank and file, they will be "busted" fatally!

Outstanding post.

We have had the dubious distinction since last October ( soon to be updated ) of the largest gap between the low and the high of the top 30 economies as measured by the OECD AND also dominate all negative trends.

Notice the financial sectors rise to true ascendancy in all this exactly corresponds to our decline.
