Re: Oh, look what one of my fellow board members stumbled upon!
Nope. Not any manufacturer plate I've ever seen. Maybe it is, but not like one that I've seen. They literally say "Manufacturer Plate" spelled out in small embossed letters on the plate.

Re: Oh, look what one of my fellow board members stumbled upon!
It very well could be a privately owned, modded Focus but I find the trailer hitch unlikely

Was that pic taken in Colorado?

It is a manufacturer's plate, after verification. |

Re: Ford Focus Hatch Caught?
Looks like someone imported a Focus ST from Europe?

Re: Ford Focus Hatch Caught?
It isn't. -_-
Arizona is being flooded with test cars at this time of the year (sometimes not even for domestic consumption - although most vehicles, if they're already available elsewhere, will oft be made available in the short run) and unless they're wearing a Cali or Michigan manufacturer's plate they're wearing these. Towing hooks are also dead-giveaways, why the f' would someone put it on an imported vehicle? Seriously? As for the servicemen hypothesis, they can't bring over cars that easily, sorry guys. It is a test vehicle, like it or not (you don't seem to, as you keep trying to dismiss it). |

Re: Ford Focus Hatch Caught?
Yes, yes, yes. Now let's get to what's really important here ... How much was gas at that Shell station in the picture? ;-P
Sorry, what we can see of this hatch doesn't impress me.

Re: Oh, look what one of my fellow board members stumbled upon!
I've only seen Michigan Manufacturer's Plates in person. But what does MT stand for?

Re: Ford Focus Hatch Caught?
maybe we will get the euro focus.
With the current models value pricing and subsequent popularity, I doubt it. I see Missouri plates....but that sure doesn't look like it's in Missouri. I don't know of any car companies in that state either. |
