Cool! Offer it in the Cobalt SS (and dash materials of the ASTRA) as well as revised HVAC controls! (just use HHR ones)

Did it get a better interior and engine to boot? If not what's the point.

Then again I guess it's sales charts do not dissapoint.

Looks good! For a casual buyer, I'm betting this will help entice them well enough

Wonder if we'll see comparable options on the Camaro and Challenger in the future??

I swear I saw one of these 6 months ago at Olathe Ford. It was a Blacktop/Orange bottom two tone.

Re: Ford adds glass roof to Mustang

I remember back in 1999 I had a c5 with a glass roof. It was cool.

Fords got the right idea.

Re: Ford adds glass roof to Mustang

no sunroof option, this has been "around" since the car came out in 2005, its made by webasto, but its been hard to find anywhere that would install it. you can buy it from Classic design concepts. i guess its cool that its now an option, but its gotta be wayyyy heavy and heat the interior like an oven. I contemplated buying one last year, but i didnt want to make my car any heavier or really have to deal with that.

I'd actually take this over a convertible, as you can get light in in any type of weather.

One of the Saleen Mustangs has a glass roof.

So is this an option on base Mustangs? Or do you have to choose "Option Pack _", because I really hate that.

Re: Ford adds glass roof to Mustang

Saleen gave me a ride in one of those, it's a cool feeling. I'm not used to a convertible, but having that much visibility without any wind noise is really cool.

Webasto also has those tops for Chrysler 300s.

According to the guy I talked to at Webasto, they are pretty reflective, like with a metallic tint, so it doesn't raise interior temps much. Granted he's selling his product, so who knows.
