Chevrolet Matiz sedan - courtesy of Chery

More goodness from everybody's favorite Chinese car company! Chery took their good old QQ, which itself is a carbon copy of the good old Daewoo Matiz (now known mostly as Chevrolet Spark or Matiz) and turned it into a.... sedan! So let us welcome perhaps the smallest and narrowest sedan made anywhere in the world, which is probably Chery's secret weapon with which it is going conquer the US market!

PS. The, well, "peculiar" front treatment is Chery's own, totally original design effort...

*******

Chery QQ6

Chinese car manufacturer Chery revealed the first official details on its new QQ6 mini-sedan.Developed under the code name S21, the new model will be put on the Chinese market in early August, priced between RMB 42,000-52,000.

At the market launch there will be two versions available: the QQ611 with a 1.1-liter and the QQ613 with a 1.3-liter engine. Key dimensions: wheelbase: 2340 mm; length: 3998 mm, width: 1640 mm, height: 1535 mm

Oh thanks a lot Bravada...thanks indeed. You helped me to lose a few pounds.

Now I have to clean up all the fackin puke!

Who needs Atkins diet when you have Bravada posting all these pirate Chinese beauties of cheapo knockoffs.

Just make sure to have a barf bag at hands...you may need it.

Ronald Regan might have liked this car, kinda looks like a 'Chery' flavored jelly bean.

I think I'm gonna puke. That Chery is one of the most un-original cars I have ever seen.

The front reminds me of a Ssangyong, which isn't a good thing by any standards.

Re: Chevrolet Matiz sedan - courtesy of Chery

I think this interior is clearly inspired by the pre-facelift Suzuki Liana, for better or worse:

chinese manufacturers doing what they do best. cheap knockoffs. who knows, it'll probably be a deathtrap at speeds above 20 mph if it's anything like the knockoff "tools" that they make.

With all due respect, the LaCrosse front end is not THAT ugly. But only slightly less

Re: Chevrolet Matiz sedan - courtesy of Chery

I am still amused [and disgusted, too] to see that people are still complaining about 'chery' being too close to 'chevy'. If one would do bit of research, one would learn that 'chery' is pronounced 'key ree', not 'cherry'.
get over it, people. move on.

The same thing was said of the Japanese when they started here and look where they are now!

I hope the Big 3 keeps their eye on the Chinese. I'd really hate to see even more marketshare erosion .
