Re: Challengers on the Assembly Line (pics)

...unfortunately, only 10 min. later not only is the thread gone but the whole site is down....anyways, 7 pics from the assembly line showed unpainted Challenger 'shells'. ..BUT from the looks of it was accurate to the concept. even the hood scoops from the concept were intact...i swear im not making this up.

Looks like at least the concept's hood and c-pillar made it to production.

These are hand-built mules. Notice the sheet on the front bumper bar, everything is "Manually Weld".

Nice looking, so far. It does look like most parts from concept made it. Hope GM can do the same with the Camaro,

Re: Challengers on the Assembly Line (pics)

With rising fuel prices and lending problems fueled by mortgage foreclosures, I fear that the Mustang and Challenger will consume any latent demand before the Camaro hits the streets.

Camaro needed to be out 2 or 3 years ago. The window of opportunity is rapidly closing.

Still, I really like the Challenger. Looks sweet.

Not to mention they're not even on an assembly line.
