BREAKING: 2014 BMW X5 leaked

These are the first images with the 2014 BMW X5 ahead of its launch sometime this year.

The third generation of the German SUV– codenamed F15 – has been spotted on a recently launched brochure of scale models made by Jadi Modelcraft. The photos were uploaded on the Facebook account of one of their dealers (Diecast Empire) and we get to see how the new X5 is shaping up.

If these images turn out to be accurate, the 2014 X5 will get the front fascia of the 3-Series, with the air vents on both sides of the front bumper from the 4-Series, while at the back the taillights come from the X3. We already know the interior will be more premium and in the United States (at least) it will be offered with a third-row seatingoption.

The third row will help sales. Owners of the current X5 will be happy their SUV will still look new when this version is introduced.

But it's a Bimmer....it must be perfect in every way. I can't believe people pay what they do for these cars. There are so many of them here in Jersey, they might as well be Dodge Caravans. I saw an ATS on the road and it stood out so much. The new Vette is going to SCREAM. I love GM.

I am right there with you. When the page opened and I saw that photo, I thought I needed to page down to see the NEW X5. I figured we would see the old model then the new one...needless to say, I am not particularly impressed with this effort.

How did BMW manage to make it look older than the current gen?

I'm sorry, but BMW is boring. Their M cars aren't what they used to be and BMW can't claim performance superiority any more, so what does BMW stand for these days?

I like some of their designs, but generally, I find them boring. Just more of the same in my opinion.

I like the X5 but they're really playing it safe with it's "redesign". Or is this another refresh?
