    Wow.

BMW can "ponder" away all they want, but it took them nearly 8 years of "pondering" to green light the X7.

I say do it BMW! And when you've run out of single digits just create a 10, 11, 12 and 13 Series. Think how marketable those will be?

Don't forget the X8, X9, 8 Grand Coupe, 8 GT, 10 GT, 11 Grand Coupe, and the various other models that come along with the digits...

I'm going with this is a Definite. This is their 3rd or 4th super 7 series concept. And the reason why they do this is because not everybody wants the Stigma of driving a Rolls. I believe that this would be a Flying Spur/S-class Pullman competitor.

When you think about it, the priciest 7-series is about $145,000. The cheapest Rolls is $300,000.
There's a wiiiiiide gap between the two.

And with a mid-range S-Class at $145,000 or so, but a high end of >$200,000 an that's before even the PUllman/Maybachs are even launched, there's room for BMW.

    Are you sure about that?

Right now, 6 Series sales are going gangbusters for BMW and those have fat profit margins.

BMW has to do this or get left behind by MB with the S Class coupe and the S Class Pullman.

And as I had stated before, the introduction of sub-entry models to the US will have little impact on the prestige or desirability of MB and BMW at the higher ends of the luxury market.

The new S Class is selling like hotcakes for MB despite being sold alongside the CLA and 6 Series is selling really well for BMW.

^^ May have been a fat pig (and not very reliable), but it looked good (much better than BMW designs today).
