Re: BMW 7 is here!
Because it isn't BMW's flagship anymore. The CS will turn into BMW's new flagship vehicle.

Re: BMW 7 is here!
Very disappointing, the current one looks much better IMO. This is just bland now, never thought I'd say this about a 7 series...
These days everyone is copying BMW design, it would have been nice if BMW gave them something new to copy with this car. |

Re: BMW 7 is here!
It just seems like BMW's designs are getting worse and worse and worse. Its almost like they are doing a funny test to see how bad they can design their cars and rely on the BMW name and driving dynamics to sell cars.
Anyone who compares this to a Maserati Quattroporte, from a design perspective, will conclude that this is a SNORE. The only car that looks good in their line-up is the 3-Series sedan, other than that they are just boring. Not bad design or offensive, just boring, boring, boring. It really is unfortunate. |

Re: 2009 BMW 7 Series Revealed
I gotta say im not a fan of BMW's interiors at all. For such a highly rated and premium brand you would think their interiors would be killer.

Re: 2009 BMW 7 Series Revealed
They're more highly rated for their driving dynamics and experience not their interior design.

Re: BMW 7 is here!
If GM had the smarts to bring out the Cadillac Sixteen by now it'd be garnering attention from those disappointed in what the 7 series has become. Opportunities wasted, left right and centre.

Re: BMW 7 is here!
It's not the flagship anymore, that will come in a year or so from the CS concept.

Those screens on the back of the seats are terrible! Did they raid Chrysler's parts bin? The armrest in the rear is not too big to me, you can actually put something in it.

Re: BMW 7 is here!
I think it looks fantastic! Light years better than the previous version. As for the LCD screens for the rear seat, they are bigger than the friggen headrests, so you can integrate them in. They need to stick out like that so that they are at a viewable angle considering the slope of the seat back, and they cant be in the seat back because well, that just wouldnt be very comfortable.
Also, I'm as big a GM fan as anyone, but I think most of you are denegrating this vehicle by saying its boring (how do you figure that?) and such because you are frustrated that Cadillac can't or won't produce anything that could even hold this cars jockstrap in its class. A great looking 7+year old concept car doesn't cut it, not even close.
