Doesn't do a thing for me, just another generic "disposable appliance". like all the other Toyotas....
I prefer the looks of this to the gaping fish mouth Escape.
I thought it looked good in the pic in the post, but when I clicked on the link and saw the real pictures I wasn't as impressed. Safe, typical Toyota. I don't care for it, but those who like Toyota won't have any hesitation in buying. Does anyone know what Toyota's conquest rate is? Clearly I'm biased toward GM, but I can't see most current Toyotas attracting anyone outside of existing Toyota customers.
Hey, you gotta watch that man...He'll go coastal on ya
This car does demonstrate one thing: Hyundai and Kia are now the stylemakers for the mass market, particularly in CUVs. That's so sad.
The whole thing is another Crapota copy-fest of unoriginality. The back end looks like it came directly from an Acura RDX and don't get me started on that interior - I used to pull pieces that looked like that from plastic trees in model kits.

"Why do you drive a Cadillac?" someone asked me the other day.
"Because you don't have the guts to!"
My Past Rides - couldn't even come close to all the cars my Dad has had:

'13 XTS4 Platinum
'08 Corvette coupe (Going to miss this one)
'06, '08, '10 STS
'94 Cutlass Supreme
'90 Z24 Coupe
The interior does have a sort of early Land Rover/Marlin Perkins Does Africa look about it.
The V6 was a screamer IIRC. No reason to buy it now.
it is consistent with every thing T has done in the past and for them safe is probably a lot safer then being daring as there is no need to be daring when you are #1 in sales or close to it + look @ what daring did to Honda, how many People here like the "bi-level" instrumentation in the Civic? and the "smiling" Mazda's newish look
Not a terrible exterior, front looks nice, but nothing that will stand out of the crowd. Interior is unwelcoming looking and cold.
Exterior improved,interior awful

Exterior is much improved over the current generation. I'm not in love with the interior but I don't think it's horrid.
Acura RDX meets Subaru Forester, and I sincerely hope they don't plan to have a 4 cylinder naturally aspirated as their top engine.
