Not a bad look, a bit of a cross between the Camry and Highlander.

I wonder how soccer moms will like the FJ inspired interior...

I see knobs on the radio and heater, that's a plus.

For Toyota that's pretty good, but it has the horrid switches from the Camry and a dash only the blind could love.

But what does Toyota care. They just pipe "Send in the drones" and people line up to buy their dreck.

I actually kind of like many of the dashboards, that buck the "center-stack-blob" trend that seem to be over-taking the industry, IMHO many seem to be made for looks/aesthetics first and functionality second.

Meh. Much better than the current one thats for sure and here were I live(PR) they will sell them like toys in a black friday. That said I'll take an Esacpe or terrain over this any day of the week.

The interior isn't bad but it's nothing to write home about. The exterior is nice - especially the front end.

That is a shocking interior for a modern car and still using a 4sp auto, thats terrible

Why can't Toyota just use the Avalon and Venza design staff to design the rest of their vehicles? It'd probably look much better if it didn't have the little "nose" that dips down around the Toyota T logo.

Horrid. What is up with the front? Did they melt the front end of the Camry and then throw it in the wind tunnel and BAM, new Rav4. Rear end doesnt look too bad. The interior is down right sad. Its not 2006 anymore. People complain about GM's put stuff here philosophy should step into a Toyota.

The interior is busy but I bet it says mordern and next generation to Toyota and import faithful. The outside is standard Toyota issue. Appliance like design, but fairly contemporary..
The Equinox should more than hold its own, though the interior puts the international 7 seater Captiva in trouble. Hopefully Chevrolet updates its Captiva interiors to Equinox standards

The current generation RAV-4 has an optional 3rd row seat. This new one looks just too small in the back to seat even a pair of toddlers. I don't think the Venza seats 7, just the Highlander.

Not bad looking. I even like the interior, unlike most here. I like Toyota's new design language, though underneath are the same old boring vehicles, which is good enough for the masses of faithful who buy them. This is one of those vehicles that will sell like hotcakes the minute it hits the dealerships, because of the reputation established by its predecessors.

Outside looks fine. Interior looks BLAND. Once again Toyota is too conservative for styling and can't seem to push itself to leap in front of the competition.

The Powertrain will have to do better in terms of efficiency if the RAV4 wants to compete. The Ford Escape, Mazda CX-5, even the Subaru Outback outdoes this vehicle.

That interior is a cheap looking mess. The Japanese may make reliable cars, but for the most part they look absolutely disgusting. This mess is no different.

I hope the ride quality and the sound deadening improve from the current generation.

The current RAV4 is plenty efficient with the V6 and 4 speed auto and not any better mileagewise with the I4, so I'm surprised they'd dump the V6.

The rear looks like the Acura RDX before the recent MCE update. In the side view of the interior photo, it looks like the third row jump seats are still there, just folded against the side of the rear compartment.

I think the exterior looks quite sleek and modern though the rear is very Mazda CX5 but the heading photo really sets the car off especially the headlight jewellery. The light paint colours really highlight the details in the body.

The interior isn't that bad although there is a lot going on and they've finally dropped the standard double DIN display for something integrated. I like the arch effect of the tacho display binnacle continuing down the centre console on the driver's side.
