The new Toyota RAV-4 is set to officially be revealed on November 28. No doubt that’s when we’ll have our best look at the new compact crossover, but for now these leaked photos of the exterior and interior give a good idea of what to expect.

The optional V6 engine in the existing RAV-4 is expected to be dropped for the 2014 model. We also expect the dated 4 speed transmission to be replaced by a more modern 6 speed unit. Production starts January 2013.

That interior is absolutely terrible. GM has nothing to worry about on the "best interior" area still for the Nox/Terrain. Outside is a good representation of the camry design except for the rear. I don't like it. Will still sell like nuts though

Way more modern looking than the current model. But compared its competitors, more uninspired, play it safe, boring stuff from Toyota.

The best-looking RAV4 was the 2000-2005. 2006-2012 is too big and look likes a Highlander : boring.

Looks more and more feminine. They'll sell millions.

Looks like trash....should sell very well to the Yota faithful.

Looks better outside, inside carries that "industrial" look most new Toyotas seem to have. Maybe it's just me but the gauges seem really low and deep in the dash compared to the other controls and displays.

Conventional rear tailgate alone (vs. the hanging spare and swing-out door) should boost sales quite a bit. Looks like they might have managed to keep a low cargo floor too.

For Toyota that's pretty good, but it has the horrid switches from the Camry and a dash only the blind could love.

But what does Toyota care. They just pipe "Send in the drones" and people line up to buy their dreck.

I like the front, the rear is different but the interior is where they lost me it just looks cheap.

I don't even know where to begin with that interior. Never have seen such a mish-mash of shapes, colors, materials in my life. Makes the interior of the new Bu look like the Mona Lisa. Wow!

That interior is awful. WTF is that blank space? A bookshelf?
