2013 Lexus HS Lives on in Japan?

I was reading through some comments on autoblog and saw a link to a 2013 Lexus HS youtube video

This is the description:

Japanese blog 昔の名前で出ています has posted images of an updated Lexus HS 250h set to launch in Japan by the end of the month.

While much of the HS remains unchanged, the new spindle grille is attractive and surprisingly effective in changing the overall look of the hybrid sedan.

Also revealed was the updated interior.

Overall, this is a drastic improvement for a model that had a hard time fitting into the Lexus lineup — however, after the HS was pulled from North American dealerships earlier this year, it's unlikely to be offered outside of Japan any time soon.

Looks like its not dead elsewhere.

It was always a strong seller in Japan, seeing it refreshed is no surprise. The car's problem here in the States was the high price. For the price of a fully loaded HS, you could get an IS350.

Yes and no. For the price of a fully loaded HS, you could almost buy an E-Class.
That being said, that HS is quite full featured with a pretty high quality interior.
