'09 Kia Borrego

This is Kia's attempt at a big SUv. It will be available with a V8.

It looks like they put 3 minutes worth of designing into the exterior.

Re: '09 Kia Borrego

Does the world really need another large suv? For some reason when I look at the front end I see hints of a Chrysler Aspen. Not a good thing.

I see 4 different design elements that are either currently or have been previously used on other vehicles. '04-'06 Chrysler Pacifica headlamp design. '07- Subaru Tribeca grill design. '01-'06 Acura MDX lower front end design (especially the shape of the foglamps). '07- GMC Acadia side profile. Looks very generic overall.

Borrego? Chevy used that on a concept, they should have paid to keep it. I like the name, not the Tribeca Aspen love baby

Re: '09 Kia Borrego

Looks reasonably tidy. Not many designs left that aren't derivative...and good.

It's more of a Lambda competitior than a GMT900, and a horrible attempt at copying every Xover in the market.

I actually saw this on my way to work about six or so months back in cammo. I was wondering what the borego was.
I doesn't seem that big in person, barely bigger than the equinox

Yep, and I thought that the new Tribeca looked like the Aspen, so I guess there you have it. And someone said Tahoe headlights and I can totally see that too.
