Re: China August 2007 Sales Result

Buick Park Avenue numbers are pretty low.

Is it too expensive? Toyota Crown is doing far better.

And VW must be RAKING in the money in China!!!

Re: China August 2007 Sales Result

The Park Ave is a class higher than the Crown, thus less sales

Re: China August 2007 Sales Result

The Park Avenue just started selling in China. You can see the numbers ramping up. No need to worry at this point.

The Excelle seems to be a hit. One of the top sellers. Nice.

Thank you! It is taking off in sales you can see that. What do people expect it to start off selling 7K a month.

Re: China August 2007 Sales Result

Glad to see the Chevy Aveo is selling so well in China. I plan to buy one myself in a few years. I still think cars like the Aveo are going make a substantial profit for GM in the next decade particularly in developing countries and maybe even North America if gas prices continue to rise.

The Excelle seems to be a hit. One of the top sellers. Nice.
1000/mo? What are the anticipated sales numbers for this car?

Please note the list if far from complete, a LOT is missing - most of the domestics, SUVs, Hainan-Mazda, Fiat, small FAW Toyotas and Xialis, Wuling-Chevrolet Matiz (and the Wuling Sunshine ) etc. etc.
OH it hurts when i saw the result of S-Max wonder why people love the Odyssey but not the S-Max, wasnt it euro car of the year N Bravada LaCrosse should be in the same class as Camry

PS: i did try to to find more datas especially with Cadillac, but information arent that easy to find in China

PS^2 the new Mondeo is coming soon to China, and plus the upcoming Accord, so i think GM will need to update the LaCrosse to state in competition

The expected sales can't be that many for China. I would have to say from around 12-30 thousand vehicles per year, not TOO many since it IS a large car. I guess it all depends on market condition and the feelings of the Chinese people.
