The ES, again, is based off the Camry platform, but is an entirely different car inside and out. I believe only the door panels are identical. I'm not sure about the 2007 ES, but the past gen was not a dressed up Camry by any means.

The RX is its own vehicle.

The LX is the only one that is a rebadge in the traditional sense- replace the Toyota badges with Lexus badges, and away you go.

If you say something enough times, it doesn't make it true.

MF
RX, Highlander, ES, are based of the Camry Platform.

Cadillac has its own Exclusive platform.. That is the difference.. Even the SRX is not a Vue or Knox..

That is the difference Btw Lexus and Cadillac

Meanwhile.. There are Crown Victoria Taxis running around in japan.. based on the same Platforms as the Lexus RWD Sedans

The only Caddy that is competitive with other vehicles is the SRX, and even that is marred by a horrific interior.

But this thread is not for this purpose.

MF
that is your opinion of the car, have you ever even owned either brand?

The Crown isn't a popular fleet car, but the Comfort is. The comfort is more used for taxi service. Both are based on ancient RWD platforms. There's also a Crown Comfort to make things more interesting.

The Crown Athlete, Crown Royal and Crown Majesta are current platform-shared cars with our Lexus LS.

So you agree, SRX is way better than RX
