Come on, you can do better than that. Say it with the Country Club voice in the Lexus commercials, like Thurston Howell III from Gilligan's Island.

"It's a Le---ekuhsus."

There, you just added 10,000 dollars to the perceived value of the vehicle.

The Lexus pictured above is the GX470, which shares its architecture with the Toyota 4Runner. The Land Cruiser is the sister vehicle to the Lexus LX470. Perhaps the Land Cruiser Prado was based on the previous gen 4Runner.

There's a guy over on PriusChat that is always posting GM recalls, he's been reminded of Toyota's shortcomings already but this would be a good one to throw in his face.

Maybe it's because it took a long time to occur? Manufacturers don't hide these for years and randomly recall them when they feel like it.
Uh...unless you are Mitsubishi. How do we know this doesn't occur in consensus don't rock the boat Nippon?

The News Just Keeps on getting better comin out of Toyota. Next there will be a massive recall on the Corolla for a window? or how about the Tundra for the Box bolts rusting premature?
It just seems recalls are the new in thing with Toyojunk right now, especially at a time were they are the perceived reliability kings

Say what you want, people.

That Lexus SUV looks good. Its bland, but the interior is awesome. I like the interior of the Land Cruiser even better. I am all about shift on the fly 4x4.

Clearly not, since the vehicles recalled were only made from 1996 to 1999.
