Re: Toyota Recalling 539,000 vehicles
Why is GM still making the Vibe with them???!?!?!
FYI the new Vibes are ugly from the rear, so-so from the front, yet still no GTI competitor.. ![]()

Above each picture is a yellow bar. Click on the bar and the picture will expand and make the image readable.
I, too, have been seeing this on news stations. It was on CNN's news ticker at the bottom of the screen mostly all day yesterday.

Re: Toyota Recalling 539,000 vehicles
I would say Toyota's unintended accelleration problem with the Tacoma's is much more important than this! If that would gain traction, it could actually tarnish the Sombrero brand.

Re: Toyota Recalling 539,000 vehicles
I haven't heard anything about the buyback program for the tacoma's over rust through issues, though......
That must be a warranty advancement, too. Kinda like WGA in Windows is an "advantage" |

Re: Toyota Recalling 539,000 vehicles
Why would you add a "warranty enhancement" for a "feature" of the subject car? I'm sure up until not the breaking windows was considered a "feature" for better interior ventilation.

Re: Toyota Recalling 539,000 vehicles
I bet when this is annouced as a GM recall of the Vibe you will see it plastered all over the evening news but Toyota will not get even a mention. Rotten communist american media that love to tear our country down while tell us how the rest of the world is enlightened.

I will say, this recall notice is great news to my ears. Sorry for the owners of those vehicles, but I'm sure they bought them thinking Toyota is perfect and can do no wrong!! |

Re: Toyota Recalling 539,000 vehicles
Why does GM still sell the Vibe? They have the HHR now, so why not kill the Vibe and direct people's interest to the HHR?

Re: Toyota Recalling 539,000 vehicles
I didn't get a chance to ask about the recall at work yesterday. But after reviewing the parts involved, it looks like a supplier issue to me. I could be wrong though. Definitely something out of our control.
