Re: Recall: Nissan Murano

Seat belt recalls are not that uncommon. If they aren't recalling any in the States yet, they would have to report it to the US anyways under the TREAD act, and it would be investigated here also then recalled if appropriate.

If this were a GM car, this would be slandered all over every headline news agency across America.

Nissan isn't recalling a million of vehicles here. It's just one model (Murano) that was bought within a certain 6 months (08-05 to 02-06)... It wouldn't have been big news if it were a GM recall.

in some ways... but it costs alot more (like 10 grand or so) which only makes it's comparative lack of power and on road abilites that much worse. a cheaper blazer in the 19-29k range based on the H3 would be a much fairer comparison, especially since it wouldn't be as off-road based and could therefore keep up better in the on-road parts of life/comparison tests.

Re: Recall: Nissan Murano

Nissan knows how to design an attractive car, at least when it come to the exterior. The interiors are aweful and the quality of Nissans apparently is terrible. I wonder how long they can keep making good looking but lousy cars before people will give them the GM treatment.

Re: Recall: Nissan Murano

This recall should be front page large print news in all national daily papers. Its only fair, since every time G.M. has a problem it is broadcast in this way. Way to go Nissan, teach this trick to the rest of the asians!

Nissan was bought out a couple of years ago by a company named renault. After they were bought out. The company has gone down the toilet. We all know how reliable french cars are
