Well chevy has an awesome tailgate, you can actually put heavy stuff on it! Those 2008 tundras have godawful tailgates. Those Fj cruisers can only cruise on the road because when they cruise off the road the frame welds break.

Thats important, how do you feel about Chevy's mechanical reliability?

I'm talking about their drivetrains. I very rarely hear about people having engine or transmission problems with GMs. The Vortec drivetrains especially seem to be very robust.

I think they would have to be pretty darn reliable otherwise GM wouldn't be able to afford the 5yr 100k warranty. I don't think it's a coincidence that Toyota still only does the 3 yr 36,000 mile warranty.

Yes as am I, I agree if the powertrains were not good I doubt GM would support them the way they do now. The powertrain I want more information on is the 3.6L 6 cylinder and 6 speed auto, I haven't heard much on their reliability. GM is putting them into allot of vehicles now and I don't hear anything bad so it seems like they are doing well.

My Sister has a 2007 RAV4 Limited(V6) and I sent her an email to see if she is having any problems with hers.

If there are any problems I will report back....

That's not accurate. The powertrain warranty for all Toyota's since the early 90s has been 5 yrs / 60000. GM's now is 5 yrs / 100,000 miles. However if you drive 40, 50 or 60,000 mi in 5 yrs they're the same.

That's not accurate either but no matter, have a go at it.

Well, Toyota seems to be having problems that takes your 20-50K investment and trows it down the drains. GM has problems with engine information stickers and program management for the Outlooks and such. GM's problems don't ruin the customers investment; Toyota does.

Toyota's moving backward not forward. Maybe they should change their slogan to "Moving Backward".
