Re: Recall: 2007 Toyota RAV4 Suffering Engine Problem

Funny...The wife has a first gen Rav4. They have always been known for not operating "as smoothly as would be expected"

Have to go in tomorrow to find out why the "check engine" idiot light went on again...no joke!!!

If you have a look at the Product Recalls Australia website, Toyota has had three other non-related recalls in the last month. Not a good look.

I am trying to feel sorry for all those smug "my Toyota is better" RAV owners, really I am.

Don't you love when that happens? Then they try to argue that its not the 70's or 80's and they bring that up.

But it does seem to be issue after issue for Toyota. I guess Toyota wanted to be GM so bad they got all of GM's karma. Must be a bummer in Toyota-land.
Not running is the ultimate safety feature

That is so true dude, made my day to.

I noticed one thing though, since Toyota doesnt recall them, does that mean their comsumers have to live with a crappy product and not get it fixed?

Re: Recall: 2007 Toyota RAV4 Suffers Engine Problems

Hopefully the myth of Japanese reliability superiority has been shattered once and for all; Toyota is not infallibe. TRD = Toyota's Recalled Daily. Haha, that's a funny line!
